Saturday 24 March Pease Hill House Hotel, annual dinner dance . Every year it has been really enjoyable and 2007 should be just as good. Tickets are on a first come, first served basis. A few members are going to bring other friends, so if you need tickets, (£28 a head including some wine at the table, 3 course dinner plus coffee, disco) it would be best to buy quickly to secure them. 6-7 April (Easter) – Davis Cup NEC Birmingham – Jill Ingle has tickets. See the stars and support Team GB.

Saturday 14 April 2 to 4 pm .Session to spring clean the courts and surrounding area – Any help is welcome; please bring gardening equipment, bin bags, etc. We hope that all club evenings will be at St. Chad's courts this summer.

April 22nd 1pm – 3pm - St. Chad's tennis club open day (children welcome)

This year we are holding an open day at St. Chad's for current members, plus friends and family. Please encourage anyone you know who may be interested in joining to come along and play for free. Refreshments of tea and biscuits provided for a small charge. Peter hopes to publicise the draw for the knockout tournaments then.

Team coaching - Peter is hoping to arrange some Sunday morning coaching at St. Chad's for team coaching (April1 st , 15 th , 22 nd , 29 th ), subject to working round our usual club session ; this will give newer members to meet team captains, and we can learn some team tactics before the match season starts. If you would like to be considered for the teams, but have not played in one yet, you are welcome to turn up.

April 30th - Adult knock out tournament starts – tournament forms to follow. Finals on July 14/15th .

Mini tennis - If you have children aged between 5 and 10 years who would like to play, the club coach offers mini tennis all year round at the St. Chad's Parish Centre. All enquiries to Peter Clynes, on Leeds 0113 2661592 or mobile 07957871413.
